Born Fort Campbell, KY, January 18, 1963. Admitted to Indiana Bar, 1994. Admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court and Courts of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Education: Indiana University (B.A., 1985; J.D., 1994). Prior to entering the field of law, Ms. Jelks served as a leasing supervisor for General Motors Acceptance Corporation.

Since beginning practice, Ms. Jelks has concentrated her practice in the following areas of law: Insurance defense, premises liability, product liability, construction litigation, employment litigation, first party defense, interstate carrier liability and medical malpractice. She has successfully resolved various legal matters through negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, trials and appellate procedure. In addition Ms. Jelks has represented and successfully defended companies against EEOC and unemployment claims.

Ms. Jelks is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association.
