Hansen Law Firm is a boutique litigation firm concentrating in criminal defense and insurance coverage cases. Hansen Law Firm is founded on the belief that clients have rights and that the State must prove its case against them. First and foremost, clients need an attorney who will protect those rights. Because people can be arrested based on an opinion, can have their own words held against them, and can be wrongfully accused of crimes, Hansen's philosophy is “Lose Your Rights? Not On My Watch.” Hansen Law Firm has embarked on a client education program through blog posts, articles and free downloadable ebooks informing citizens about their rights, and their best options if arrested.

Hansen Law Firm also concentrates on areas of insurance defense and coverage. Our practice covers the gamut of insurance defense matters; from automobile to commercial general liability to worker's compensation.

Hansen Law Firm strives to meet the challenges of litigation and claims disposition with each client's goals in mind. Our objective is to provide quality legal services while recognizing economic and result realities. Developing long-term relationships and strong communication with our clients is our priority.

Our collective well-rounded legal experience is of benefit to all our clients. We offer the flexibility of a medium-sized firm, with many of the capabilities of a large firm. Our computer resources allow us to manage complicated multiparty toxic tort claims, as well as litigation management for more standard claims. In addition, computer research capabilities permit us to provide clients with up-to-date legal analysis.

Prompt evaluation, timely communication with the client and aggressive, efficient and effective representation result in successful defense law. We welcome input from our clients and seek common goals and direction to claim resolution.

Our Credentials

Hansen Law Firm is an AV rated dispute resolution firm. Our associated attorneys collectively have extensive trial experience in numerous federal and state courts. Appellate experience includes matters before the United States Supreme Court, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Indiana Supreme Court and the Indiana Courts of Appeal. Further, the attorneys are experienced in all alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available short of a jury trial.
